Sometimes when you have a lot of resistance about receiving a specific desire that’s exactly when you need be a DELIBERATE CREATOR in order to evoke different energy. What am I getting at?
You are the co-creator of your life and you can either deliberately guide your emotions towards a point of attraction that brings you what you want or you can be passive to the momentum of your current HABITS of emotions and keep attracting “what is.” It’s that simple.
Are you truly doing the work to match up with the vibrational energy of what you want or are you just “going through the motions”?
It took me a long time to get out of the HABIT of rushing around, feeling overwhelmed and being ruled by distraction (i.e. scrolling on Facebook endlessly). I would chastise myself for my lack of discipline and inability to focus.
I was approaching my emotional state from an intellectual perspective and I can tell you now that that approach will always feel like an effort.
The first step, in my opinion, to emotional mastery or controlling your point of attraction, is SLOWING DOWN enough to get intimate with the moment.
The word intimacy gets thrown around a lot in the romantic context but it also applies to your relationship with yourself and how you relate to the world at large. Intimacy creates meaning and CONNECTION in its truest form.
Your greatest point of power is NOW. How connected you are-how intimate in each moment determines how powerful you allow yourself to be.
These are all just WORDS if you’re prone to living in your head like most of us are.
So how do you shift from being in your head to EXPERIENCING emotions in the body? This is the next step in emotional mastery.
The answer is PRACTICING WHAT THAT EMOTION FEELS LIKE.
Albert Einstein is often erroneously credited with the statement:
“Everything is energy and that’s all there is to it. Match the frequency of what you want and you cannot help but get that reality. It can be no other way. This is physics.”
(Darryl Anka, channeler of Bashar, is the actual author but either way the point is the same.)
Sometimes “playing pretend” about our desires makes it easier for them to manifest. Let me give you a loose example.
There’s an often recanted story about Marilyn Monroe (born Norma Jean Baker) where she had gone out with a friend for the day in downtown New York and they had enjoyed relative anonymity. Marilyn turned to her friend and said, “Do you want me to be her?” and then shifted her energy to the Marilyn Monroe persona by taking off her head scarf, sticking out her chest and strutting down the street. Almost immediately a gaggle of fans swarmed around her.
The point of this story? Marilyn was so aligned with (and had practiced) the energy of BEING that persona she could deliberately shift into it.
This is the energy that brought her to stardom in the first place.
Now you may not aim to be a famous movie starlet but your manifesting abilities are the same as Marilyn Monroe’s. Your subconscious mind can’t tell if you’re pretending or if it’s real life. Our conscious mind adds in the resistance and meaning-making to our energy.
You too can assume a persona to release resistance and shift your energy if “what is” is not matching your desires.
If this feels fake or insincere, that’s not the energy you’re aiming for. Be playful about everything. Like Abraham-Hicks says, “Be easy about it.” Guide yourself to match up the frequency of what you want.
So when you think about it, who do you need to be to get what you want?
In my upcoming 5-Day Challenge “Learn to Trust Yourself Again” I talk about this process a lot more. If you’re still struggling to get clarity about what you want and need to clean up your life after creating by default you definitely need to sign up for this FREE event!!
